Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF)

For people who are unable to work permanent/temporarily or need urgent financial assistance for less than three months:

Ministry of Health (MOH)

• Subsidy Framework for Intermediate and Long-Term Care (ILTC) provide subsidies to needy people seeking treatment/care in Intermediate to Long-term Care (ILTC) institution.
• Medifund is an endowment fund set up by the Government to help needy Singaporeans. Medifund is a safety net for patients who face financial difficulties with their remaining bills after receiving Government subsidies and drawing on other means of payments including MediShield Life, private Integrated Shield Plans (IPs), Medisave and cash

Ministry of Transport

Concession Scheme for Senior Citizen and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) includes Monthly Concession Pass priced at $60 which allows for unlimited travel on Singapore's primary bus services and rail services within pass validity period.

Community Development Councils

Local Assitance Schemes and Programmes: The CDCs administer a variety of local assistance schemes to help vulnerable families and elderly that complement the Government's effort to strengthen our social safety net. Each CDC works with corporate and community partners under the "Many Helping Hands" approached to plan and implement local assistance schemes that benefit the community.

Agency for Integrated Care (AIC)

The Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) is set up by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to oversee, coordinate and facilitate all efforts in care integration.

• Caregivers Training Grant (CTG): For caregivers to learn the necessary skills to better care for loved ones
• Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS): More affordable healthcare for lower- and middle-income Singaporeans
• Foreign Domestic Worker Grant (FDWG): $120 a month for families that need an extra pair of hands to care for loved ones
• Foreign Domestic Worker Levy Concession (FDWLC): Lowering the cost of caring for your loved one
• Interim Disability Assistance Programme for the Elderly (IDAPE): Help for disabled Singaporeans with financial problems
• Medical Fee Exemption Card: Free treatment for the sick and needy
• Pioneer Generation Disability Assistance Scheme (PioneerDAS): Help to hour contributions of disabled Pioneer Generation members
• Senior's Mobility and Enabling Fund (SMF): Helping the elderly stay mobile and independent in the community.

National Council of Social Service

Developmental Disability Registry (DDR) Identity Card (ID)

The DDR ID card offers a benefits scheme that provides cardholders discounted rates for services and access to various facilities. The card can be generated through NCSS’s Developmental Disability Registry and is administered by SG Enable. Cardholders can also enjoy discounted rates for services and access to facilities offered by participating companies. DNR Wheels Pte Ltd provides for a 10% discount for purchase of assistive equipments such as a wheelchair.

• Car Park Label Scheme: Individuals with physical disabilities can park in accessible parking lots by displaying a special vehicle label.
• Assistive Technology Fund: Persons with disabilities can get subsidies for assistive technology devices such as wheelchairs and hearing aids for independence in daily living. ​​
• Public Transport Concession Scheme for Persons with Disabilities: This scheme offers persons with disabilities concessionary rates for travel on public transport.
• VWO Transport Subsidies: These transport subsidies are aimed at providing support for persons with disabilities who need to take dedicated transport provided by Voluntary Welfare Organisations to access school and care services.
• Taxi Subsidy Scheme: This scheme supports individuals with disabilities who are only able to travel by taxi for school or work purposes.

Stroke Support Station

S3 FairPrice Foundation Mobility Assistance Subsidy

To help defray transport cost for our new stroke survivors who face financial constraints during their period of recovery, S3 would reimburse 50% of their transport costs – two-way transport between home and S3. Terms and conditions to the subsidy will be explained to members after attending their first session at S3.
