In conjunction with World Stroke Day, Stroke Support Station (S3) held a 2-day stroke awareness and prevention roadshow at Bedok Town Square. 

Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Member of Parliament, East Coast GRC graced the event where he mingled with the public and tried out the activity stations at the roadshow.

A team of nursing students from the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, National University of Singapore (NUS), S3 members and volunteers helped carry out assessments and engaged with the public. 

A total of 10,000 tissue packets and flyers with the F.A.S.T. message was distributed to residents as part of community outreach.
