Why We Are Here

Every year, more than 8,000 people suffer stroke attacks in Singapore. About 90 percent of stroke patients survive and carry on living for many years.

Stroke survivors are affected not just physically, but also psychologically. Their caregivers also bear the burden of caring for them, often at the expense of their own well-being. The financial costs of rehabilitation is also a major stress factor for them.

We are committed to build a community of care that:

  • Supports stroke survivors by helping them to rebuild their confidence, improve quality of life and reintegrate into society.
  • Supports caregivers by empowering them to support their loved ones and at the same time, take care of their own well-being.
  • Enables volunteers, donors and partners to contribute meaningfully and make a difference in the lives of stroke survivors and their families.
