S3 aims to provide the best quality of post-stroke care in the community so that our clients and their families are able to rebuild their lives after stroke. With advanced technological equipment and stroke-focused programmes, S3 is able to provide an environment for stroke survivors and their families to enhance their physical, mental, social, and emotional health.

The incumbent will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide an effective and efficient therapy session for stroke survivors and be required to provide supervision to other physiotherapists and support staff. Where required, they will also need to be supervisors for conditional registered occupational therapists and occupational therapy students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments for clients during admission and periodic reviews
Design plans and conduct therapy interventions for clients using evidence-based practices
Provide individual and group interventions for clients
Assist in the discharge planning and care plan for clients
Mentor and supervise therapists and support staff
Monitor team-based key performance indicators
Conduct service and clinical audits

Job Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
At least 5 years of relevant experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably with 2 years in Neuro-rehab or community care setting
Full registration with Allied Health Professions Council
A valid certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support with AED
Must have an interest to work with elderly and persons with disabilities
Patience and gentle disposition with empathy and strong listening skills
Able to converse in English and at least on other local language is preferred
Candidate must be willing to commute between our 2 centres (Lengkok Bahru and Jurong Point Shopping Centre). MRT accessible.
